- I will ensure that all athletes get equal insurtucion, support and playing time. I will encourage the development of skills by trying to make practices fun and instructive.
- I will be reasonable when scheduling games and practices remembering that young athletes have other interests and obligations.
- I will not ridicule or yell at my athletes for making mistakes or for performing poorly. I will remember that young athletes for making mistakes or for performing poorly. I will remember that children play to have fun and must be encouraged to have confidence in themselves.
- I will teach my athletes to play fairly and to respect the rules, officials and opponents.
- I will uphold the complete authority of the referee during the game. I recognize that a referee, at his/her discretion, can eject a player or a coach from the game as per FIFA/league rules and for disruptive, disrespectful behavior. If I disagree with the decision of the referee, I will not yell at, verbally or physically threaten, or argue with the referee. i may ask about or discuss issues with the referee during half time or at the end of the game. I will do this in a constructive and respectful manner. I realize that referees, especially in the younger age groups, are referees-in-training. I will aid in teaching and helping them by offering my experience and advice in a constructive, polite manner.
- I will refrain from using abusice or foul language around the team
- I will obtain proper training and continue to upgrade my coaching skills
- I will make sure that equipment and facilities are safe and math the athletes' age and abilities
- I will remember that children need a coach they can respect. I will be generous with praise and set a good example
- I will agree to be subject to a disciplinary hearing if I do not coach according to these standards
